This policy explains how Fight Picks handles personal information when you use the Service. It covers the website, installed web app, accounts, prediction groups, notifications and support requests.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, display name, username, password (stored in protected hashed form), group memberships, predictions, group messages, notification choices and feature requests. If you use Continue with Google, we receive the identity information Google authorises for sign-in, such as your verified email address, name and Google account identifier.
We also process technical information needed to run and secure the Service, such as session cookies, device/browser information, IP address and server logs. If you enable device alerts, we store the browser push-subscription endpoint and security keys needed to deliver them.
How we use information
We use your information to create and secure your account; show your groups, picks, standings and notifications; send requested account, reminder, event-result and group-message emails; deliver enabled browser alerts; respond to support requests; prevent abuse; maintain and improve the Service; and measure sponsorship placements where they are shown.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the Service to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
What other members can see
Members of a group can see the name you use, your group membership, predictions where the relevant group rules allow them to be shown, leaderboard entries, results, achievements and messages you post in the group chat. Logged-in Fight Picks members may also see the display names and scores shown by site-wide leaderboard features. Do not put sensitive personal information in group names, messages or feature requests.
Cookies, notifications and third parties
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. We do not currently use advertising tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.
We use service providers to operate Fight Picks, including hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, Google sign-in when you choose it, browser push-notification services and Google Fonts. They process information only as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy policies. These providers may process information outside your country.
Retention and security
We keep account and group data while your account or group remains active and afterwards only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy, to resolve disputes, meet legal obligations or protect the Service. You can ask us to delete your account or personal information; some retained records may be kept where required or justified by law.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including restricted access and password hashing. No internet service can promise absolute security, so please use a unique password and protect your device.
Your choices and rights
You can update notification preferences in Settings, disable browser alerts through your browser or device, and stop marketing or service emails where an unsubscribe option is provided. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal information, and to complain to your data-protection regulator.
To make a request, email ufcfightpicksHQ@gmail.com from the email address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The current version and date will always appear on this page. For privacy questions or requests, contact ufcfightpicksHQ@gmail.com.
